Texas High School Basketball - George Ranch bested by Morton Ranch
November 15, 2025: Katy, TX 77449 Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team thwart the visiting George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 58-42 in a non-league contest.
The Mavericks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Cy-Fair was dropped by Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 52-35, in a non-league match.
The Longhorns now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobie for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 18. George Ranch will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 63-19 non-league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-2.
