In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds basketball team scored a big 66-35 triumph over the La Joya Coyotes.

The Bloodhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, San Benito was overwhelmed by Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX), 54-19, in a non-league match.
