The Dekaney Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Cypress Lakes Spartans to 59 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sharpstown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 23.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Benjamin Davis was nudged by Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
