Texas High School Basketball - Latexo overwhelmed by New Summerfield
November 16, 2021: Latexo, TX 75849 The New Summerfield Hornets basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Latexo Tigers to 17 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinidad for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 18. New Summerfield will battle a Trojans team coming off a 67-37 non-league win over Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Cross Roads was routed by Kemp (Kemp, TX), 71-17, in a non-league contest.
