Selma Bears (Selma, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA), 70-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Selma upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host Mission Oak (Tulare, CA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, November 29. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Orosi Cardinals (Orosi, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 17. Reedley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 65-42 non-league win over Woodlake (Woodlake, CA).
