The Clemens Buffaloes basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Canyon Cougars to 34 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 18. Clemens will battle a Brahmas team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-5.

The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Austin dropped by Socorro (El Paso, TX), 63-26, in a non-league contest.
