Marion Giants (Marion, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN), 37-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 11. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 3-1.

The Argylls (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Converse, IN). The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Oak Hill was toppled by Norwell (Ossian, IN), 35-25, in a non-league battle.
