McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR), 39-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McCrory upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Eagles play the Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Bradford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
