DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS), 65-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. South Pontotoc lost 55-33 in their recent non-league bout against Oxford (Oxford, MS)

Next up, the Chargers clash with the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Grenada will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
