Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dickinson Gators (Dickinson, TX), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Cypress Creek lost 91-52 in their recent non-league bout against Allen (Allen, TX)

Next up, the Gators play the Texas City Stingarees (Texas City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Dickinson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Stingarees go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (Houston, TX).
