The Lake Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Lamar Raiders to 48 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raleigh for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28.

The Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Brookhaven Academy edged Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
