Texas High School Basketball - Lipan tops Port Aransas
November 16, 2023: Port Aransas, TX 78373 Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX), 51-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lipan upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Sabine (Gladewater, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Sabine lost 69-59 in their recent non-league bout against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX)
Next up, the Marlins play the Austwell-Tivoli Redfish (Tivoli, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Port Aransas will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
