California High School Basketball - Arroyo over San Gabriel

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) and the host San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA), saw Arroyo's basketball squad overcome San Gabriel by a tally of 39-26.

With the victory, Arroyo improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fontana (Fontana, CA) to confront the Steelers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Steelers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Fontana won 42-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Miller (Fontana, CA)

Next up, the Matadors confront the South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. San Gabriel will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 46-11 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
