November 16, 2023: Bay Springs, MS 39422 Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS), 56-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bay Springs upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS) to clash with the Oilers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Lumberton Panthers (Lumberton, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. West Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 56-42 non-league loss to Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS).
