Texas High School Basketball - Idalou overwhelms Lubbock
November 16, 2023: Idalou, TX 79329 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) and the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), saw Idalou's basketball squad wallop Lubbock by a count of 70-30.
With the victory, Idalou upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 17. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Tascosa won 62-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Hanks (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Westerners play the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Lubbock will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 62-23 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, TX).
