Arkansas High School Basketball - Brookland can't hold off Tuckerman
November 16, 2024: Brookland, AR 72417 Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR), 68-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tuckerman upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR) to face the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, November 19. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 9-1.
The Bearcats now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nettleton for a non-league match on Saturday, November 16. Brookland will face a Raiders squad coming off a 69-64 league win over ESTEM (Little Rock, AR). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
