Georgia High School Basketball - Morrow overwhelms Mt. Zion
November 16, 2024: Jonesboro, GA 30236 The Morrow Mustangs basketball team scored 98 points and limited the host Mt. Zion Bulldogs to 61 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host South Gwinnett for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 19. Morrow will confront a Comets team coming off a 50-40 non-league win over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Comets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Mt. Zion falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-0. Mundy's Mill won 66-52 in their recent non-league game against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA)
