Georgia High School Basketball - Southwest DeKalb can't hold off Dutchtown
November 16, 2024: Decatur, GA 30034 Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), 46-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Dutchtown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Luella (Luella, GA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. The Lions enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Panthers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mundy's Mill for a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. Southwest DeKalb will face a Tigers squad coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
