Tennessee High School Basketball - Elizabethton ripped by Alcoa
November 17, 2022: Alcoa, TN 37701 The Alcoa Tornadoes basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones to 52 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cocke County for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Alcoa will battle a Fighting Cocks team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over West Ridge (Blountville, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 1-0.
The Fighting Cyclones (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Grainger triumphed over North Greene (Greeneville, TN), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
