California High School Basketball - Bakersfield Christian overwhelms Mt. Whitney
November 17, 2022: Bakersfield, CA 93312 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bakersfield Christian Eagles (Bakersfield, CA) and the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), saw Bakersfield Christian's basketball squad wallop Mt. Whitney by a tally of 67-44.
With the victory, Bakersfield Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 19. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Harvard-Westlake won 69-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Crossroads (Santa Monica, CA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 22. Mt. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 76-71 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, CA).
