California High School Basketball - Bassett overwhelmed by San Gabriel
November 17, 2022: San Gabriel, CA 91776 The San Gabriel Matadors basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Bassett Olympians to 36 in the Matadors non-league victory on Thursday.
The Matadors now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marino for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. San Gabriel will battle a Titans team coming off a 66-60 non-league win over Hoover (Glendale, CA). The Titans record now stands at 2-0.
The Olympians (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Polytechnic triumphed over St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA), 79-49, in a non-league contest.
