California High School Basketball - Burroughs winner over Whittier
November 17, 2022: Whittier, CA 90601 The Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) basketball felled the host Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), 75-67 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hart (Newhall, CA). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Hart was knocked off by JW North (Riverside, CA), 56-53, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Whittier will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 82-39 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
