Texas High School Basketball - Vela overwhelms Edison

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) and the host Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), saw Vela's basketball squad wallop Edison by a tally of 91-39.

With the victory, Vela improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Stevens (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 17. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Stevens lost 77-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Boerne (Boerne, TX)

Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 18. Edison will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 59-47 non-league loss to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX).
