The Franklin Cougars basketball team (El Paso, TX), was toppled 50-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX)

The Hornets now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutto for a non-league battle on Friday, November 18. Flour Bluff will confront a Hippos team coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 6-4.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Grapevine was toppled by Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX), 36-28, in a non-league battle.
