Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX), 41-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montgomery upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Lumberton lost 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Tomball will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 51-12 non-league loss to Kingwood (Kingwood, TX).
