Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX), 57-49 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Odessa improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bronchos travel to Monahans (Monahans, TX) to confront the Loboes in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Loboes come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Monahans lost 63-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Snyder (Snyder, TX)

Next up, the Dragons confront the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 18. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Alexander (Laredo, TX).
