Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) and the host Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), saw Downey's basketball squad wallop Los Alamitos by a tally of 50-22.

With the victory, Downey improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
