Match Summary
The T-wolves put up a relentless attack with 12 shots on goal in 19 attempts, scoring their first goal in the 7th minute. Emma did well to thwart another when she was knocked to the ground by a hard shot in the 20th minute, and they held a 1-nil lead at the half. Their second score came 9 minutes into the last half, and we cut their lead in half when Rhea’s long free kick was bandied about in front of the net and Tyler soon pounced on it from close in on the left with 9 minutes on the clock. They sealed their win just 2 minutes later—though, our biggest loss of the night was of Ariana, whose knee was banged up just after our score. We finished with 6 attempts/1 on goal, Emma had 9 saves, and Meghan’s energy and effort earned the coaches’ nod as our Player of the Game.
