The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Tabernacle Christian Conquerors to 48 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Iredell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Alexander Central will battle a Raiders team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

The Conquerors (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
