Utah High School Basketball - Altamont overwhelms Utah School for the Deaf & Blind
November 17, 2023: Altamont, UT 84001 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) and the visiting Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles (Ogden, UT), saw Altamont's basketball squad wallop Utah School for the Deaf & Blind by a tally of 73-17.
With the victory, Altamont improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Telos (Orem, UT) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Telos lost 71-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds (Riverdale, UT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, November 29. Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 80-38 non-league loss to Tintic (Eureka, UT).
