In Friday's non-league match, the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-49 triumph over the Berry Cardinal.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 21. East Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Pumas enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 79-60 non-league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Berry moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cardinal host Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 21.
