California High School Basketball - Whittier can't hold off Cajon
November 17, 2023: San Bernardino, CA 92407 The Cajon Cowboys basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Whittier Cardinals to 49 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Narbonne for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Cajon will battle a Gauchos team coming off a 76-69 non-league win over Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 2-1.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Highland edged Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
