Texas High School Basketball - Katy fells Weslaco East
November 17, 2023: Weslaco, TX 78596 Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX), 69-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Katy upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Harlingen won 61-22 in their recent non-league bout against Mission (Mission, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Weslaco East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 56-34 non-league loss to Clark (San Antonio, TX).
