California High School Basketball - Nogales can't hold off Monrovia
November 17, 2023: Monrovia, CA 91016 The Monrovia Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Nogales Nobles to 48 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Monica Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Monrovia will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 70-53 non-league win over Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.
The Nobles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Whittier, CA). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Pioneer edged Southlands Christian (Rowland Heights, CA), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
