Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ridgeview Christian Crusaders (Stuarts Draft, VA), 68-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Virginia Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Conquerors travel to Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Dayspring Christian Academy Lions (Blacksburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Ridgeview Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
