In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Carthage Bulldogs football squad scored a big 49-7 victory over the Van Alstyne Panthers.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 24. Carthage will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 12-0 record after their 63-10 non-league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX).
