The Weddington Warriors topped the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars football team by a final score of 37-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Weddington improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Warriors host Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Whirlies in a non-league outing on Friday, November 24. The Whirlies go into the outing with a record of 13-0. Grimsley won 42-35 in their recent non-league outing against Hough (Cornelius, NC)

With the loss, Charlotte Catholic moves to 9-4 on the season.
