Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX), 20-17 in a non-league test.

With the win, Smithson Valley improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Rangers travel to College Station (College Station, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, November 24. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 11-1. College Station won 45-21 in their recent non-league test against Magnolia (Magnolia, TX)

With the loss, Magnolia West moves to 7-5 on the season.
