Texas High School Basketball - Commerce tops Alba-Golden
November 17, 2023: Alba, TX 75410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) and the host Alba-Golden Panthers (Alba, TX), saw Commerce's basketball squad knock off Alba-Golden by a count of 56-43.
With the victory, Commerce upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Sam Rayburn lost 42-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 18. Alba-Golden will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 34-29 non-league win over Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX).
