Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC) and the host Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC), saw Northwood Academy's basketball squad hold off Carolina Forest by a tally of 48-45.

With the victory, Northwood Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to play the Red Foxes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Red Foxes come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hartsville won 44-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC)
