In Friday's non-league outing, the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), by a margin of 50-48.

The Jaguars (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, East Chapel Hill held off Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 47-39, in a non-league outing.
