Texas High School Basketball - Cross Plains fells Meridian
November 17, 2023: Meridian, TX 76665 Cross Plains Buffaloes (Cross Plains, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), 34-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cross Plains upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hico won 34-29 in their recent non-league bout against Dublin (Dublin, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Alvord (Alvord, TX).
