November 17, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79423 Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX), 62-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lubbock-Cooper upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Pirates host Clarendon (Clarendon, TX) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Clarendon won 44-14 in their recent non-league bout against Dumas (Dumas, TX)
Next up, the Billies clash with the McLean Tigers (McLean, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Fredericksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 61-44 non-league win over Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX).
