The Smithson Valley Rangers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Marshall Rams to 38 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Americas for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Smithson Valley will battle a Trail Blazers team coming off a 74-39 non-league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 8-0.

The Rams (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Southwest was defeated by Pieper (San Antonio, TX), 47-28, in a non-league contest.
