The Northlake Christian Wolverines basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Willow Lions to 2 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Northlake Christian will meet a Hornets team coming off a 52-4 non-league win over Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-1.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA). The Pelicans enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
