November 17, 2023: Robert Lee, TX 76945 The Robert Lee Steers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Rochelle Hornets to 35 in the Steers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Steers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Robert Lee will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-28 non-league loss to Sterling City (Sterling City, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Rochelle moves to 0-2 on the year. The Hornets host Rising Star (Rising Star, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, November 20. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 0-1.
