Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT) and the visiting Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), saw Kanab's basketball squad overcome Escalante by a tally of 46-27.

With the victory, Kanab improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Moquis confront the El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 18. Escalante will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
