November 17, 2023: Sanford, NC 27330 The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball were winner over the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 41-32 in Friday's non-league contest.
The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. South Johnston will meet a Rams team coming off a 74-30 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
The Yellow Jackets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
