The Lejeune Devil Pups basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 29 in the Devil Pups non-league triumph on Friday.

The Devil Pups now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Duplin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, South Lenoir ran past Croatan (Newport, NC), 40-28, in a non-league contest.
