November 17, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Western Guilford's basketball squad hold off R.J. Reynolds by a tally of 42-40.
With the victory, Western Guilford improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. North Davidson won 43-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Demons confront the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
